PAMIĘTAJ!: There are two Polish verbs that correspond to the English verb TO GO - IŚĆ and CHODZIĆ. The two are not interchangeable, so you should learn which verb is used in which situations.


The following exercises will help you to learn when to use the verb CHODZIĆ (To go). Fill in the blanks with the proper form of the verb. Use the "special character" buttons below as needed:


1. His family goes to church. = Jego rodzina do kościoła.

2. You (formal, singular) go to the movies every Friday. = Pan do kina w każdy piątek.

3. She goes to school. = Ona do szkoły.

4. I go to yoga each Saturday. = na jogę w każdą sobotę.

5. We go to Polish classes. = na lekcje polskiego.

6. They often go to the gym. = Oni często do siłowni.

7. We go to dance classes. = na lekcje tańca.

8. He goes to high school. = On do liceum.

9. Do you (informal, singular) go there ? = tam?

10. Do you (formal, singular) go to that park on weekends ? = Czy Pani do tego parku w weekendy?
