TOPIC: The conditional tense in Polish 2
(Expressing "would like" in Polish - The conditional form of CHCIEĆ)

This exercise will help you practice talking about things one "would like" to happen in Polish. Fill in the proper CONDITIONAL form of the verb CHCIEĆ (to want) to complete each translation. Use the "special character" buttons below as needed:

Ex: I (m.) would like to take a day off. - Chciałbym wziąć dzień wolny.

1. I (f.) would like to go out for a couple of beers tonight. = dzisiaj wieczorem pójść na parę piw.

2. I (m.) would like to take a week off. = wziąć tydzień wolnego.

3. Would you (formal, singular, fem.) like to go to the jazz concert with me? = Czy Pani pójść ze mną na koncert jazzowy?

4. I know that you (informal, singular, masc.) would like to meet him. = Wiem, że go poznać.

5. She would like to finish it by Friday. = Ona to skończyć do piątku.

6. He would like to buy a motorbike. = On kupić motor.

7. We (f.) would like to go on vacation. = pojechać na wakacje.

8. We (m.) would like to buy a house. = kupić dom.

9. Would you (informal, plural, mixed) like to eat something? = Czy cos zjeść?

10. They (f.) would like to study abroad. = One studiować za granicą.
