PAMIĘTAJ!: There are two Polish verbs that correspond to the English verb TO GO - I¦Ć and CHODZIĆ. The two are not interchangeable, so you should learn which verb is used in which situations.


The following exercises will help you to learn when to use the verb I¦Ć (To go). Fill in the blanks with the proper form of the verb. Use the "special character" buttons below as needed:


1. I am going to the concert in an hour. = na koncert za godzinę.

2. He is going to school. = On do szkoły.

3. We are going to yoga class. = My na jogę.

4. You (informal, singular) are going to a park. = Ty do parku.

5. She is going to the movies in ten minutes. = Ona do kina za dziesięć minut.

6. I am not going there. = Ja tam nie .

7. You (formal, plural) are going to the gym. = Państwo do siłowni.

8. You (formal, singular) are going shopping. = Pan na zakupy.

9. We are going to a dance class. = My na lekcję tańca.

10. They are going to the club. = One do klubu.
