POLISH GRAMMAR EXECISE

Topic: MIXED VERBS (Past tense - imperfective form) 2

PAMIĘTAJ!: In Polish, the PAST TENSE is divided into the PERFECTIVE and IMPERFECTIVE form. The IMPERFECTIVE form is often used the same way as the English PAST CONTINUOUS ("I was doing..."), while the PERFECTIVE form is often used in the same way as the English SIMPLE PAST ("I did...").

The following exercise will help you practice the imperfective past tense in Polish. Fill in the blanks with the proper form of the verb (in parentheses). Use the "special character" buttons below as needed.

Example: I (m.) was going to Warsaw. = Jechałem do Warszawy. (jechać)
