THE PAST TENSE (Perfective form) in Polish 1
PAMIĘTAJ!: In Polish, the PAST TENSE is divided into the PERFECTIVE and IMPERFECTIVE form. The IMPERFECTIVE form is often used the same way as the English PAST CONTINUOUS ("I was doing..."), while the PERFECTIVE form is often used in the same way as the English SIMPLE PAST ("I did...").
The following sentences should all be in the the PERFECTIVE form. Choose which of the two verbs is PERFECTIVE:
