TOPIC: COMMON POLISH VERBS (Infinitive form) 1



PAMIĘTAJ!: In Polish, verbs are divided into the IMPERFECTIVE and PERFECTIVE form. Some examples: robić/zrobić (to do), czytać/przeczytać (to read), otwierać/otworzyć (to open), etc. In the exercise below, apart from translating the verb, you'll have to decide which of the two forms is required.


Write the Polish equivalent of the verb (in parentheses). Use the "special character" buttons below as needed: to complete the following translations:


1. Dziewczynka nie będzie słodyczy. (to eat)

2. Pies chce po parku. (to run)

3. Dzieci chcą grami komputerowymi. (to play)

4. Moja siostra chce samochód. (to buy)
